Warm from the kiln…
‘Dancing with the Flame’ Exhibition at National Art Glass Gallery
I was thrilled to be invited to be a part of the first ‘Dancing with the Flame’ exhibition at the National Art Glass Gallery in Wagga Wagga. There are plans to make this a regular biennial event on the Australian Glass Art calendar. This show was the first collection of flame worked art displayed at the National Art Glass Gallery, and it is an important milestone for flame work glass artists. The show juried show included most of Australia’s best flame work glass artists.
My pieces were included in the exhibition catalogue, and on the front page of the exhibition brochure.
The last ‘Flame on Glass’ Exhibition at Kirra Gallery

His contribution to glass art in Australia is immense, and he will be missed.
The Seabed Series pendant and bracelet are new pieces but old favourites – I have made a number of these over the years, and I still love making them. The other necklaces are new designs or a development of an older design.
The Fantasy Seascape is a new departure for me – branching out into free form sculptural pieces made with soft glass. I loved making this piece
